3. Sometimes, individuals can get lost in a large group setting as well as rely on other colleagues to a fault. In small group performances, the individual role is greater which can create stronger players in the rehearsal process.

4. Small group work fosters team building skills. Whether this comes in the form of simply performing music together, arranging rehearsals, or just helping a student become more socially active.
